No, the visa must be obtained before your departure for Australia.

You must apply for an e-Visa at least 72 hours before your arrival. If you are arriving a long way away, we will accept files but will send you your eVisitor when it becomes available.

🚸 Does the eVisitor also apply to minors?

Yes, minors must also obtain an eVisitor before departure. 

⏱ How long is the eVisitor valid for?

The eVisitor allows you to stay on site for a maximum of 3 months per stay. Once issued, the eVisitor is valid for 12 months and you can enter and leave the country multiple times.

⏰ How long can I stay in Australia with an eVisitor?

The eVisitor offers you multiple entries in the region.

📅 Do my travel dates have to be exact?

When you submit your eVisitor application, you must indicate your planned travel dates. However, these dates may not be exact. You can change them later, as long as the duration of your stay in Australia does not exceed 3 months.

💼 When should I choose an eVisitor business?

You can choose an Australian Business eVisitor if you intend to travel to Australia for business or work-related reasons, such as meetings, conferences, business negotiations, exhibitions or trade fairs.

Please note that obtaining an Australian eVisitor for Business does not allow you to work in Australia.

💰 Can I work with an eVisitor?

The Australian eVisitor is a visitor's visa that allows you to travel to Australia for tourism or business purposes. eVisitor holders are not permitted to work in Australia during their stay.. If you wish to work in Australia, you will need to apply for an appropriate work visa.

To extend your stay in Australia, you will need to apply for a a new visa application.

🤷‍♂️ What is the difference between the eVisitor and the Australian ETA?

Unlike the eVisitor, which can be obtained online, the ETA is a visa that cannot be obtained online by European Union nationals. You must go through an organisation such as a travel agency or airline to receive it. Please note that additional fees will apply.

💉 What vaccinations are compulsory for Australia?

Only the yellow fever vaccination certificate is compulsory if you come from a high-risk region. If in doubt, consult the exact list of Compulsory and recommended vaccines for Australia

🚨 What should you do if you've made a mistake in your application?

If you discover an error before sending your administrative documents, please indicate the correction to be made by sending these documents.

Beyond that moment, corrections can no longer be applied. We invite you to contact us for more information.

Once the e-Visa issued, its data cannot be modified. You will need to submit a new application if your information differs significantly.

🧒 Do I need to apply for an exit permit for my child?

If a minor leaves French territory without a legal guardian, he or she must be in possession of an AST (authorisation to leave the country). This document can be requested online, and must be completed by one of the holders of parental authority. When travelling, this form must be accompanied by a copy of the identity document of the legal guardian.
