A typical stay in Australia

Taking a trip to Australia is a great idea. With its sumptuous landscapes, favourable climate and variety of tourist sites, Australia is one of the most popular destinations for travellers. To make it easier for tourists to travel to Australia with complete peace of mind, an e-visa has been introduced. We explain everything here.

What to see and do in Australia

Although it is possible to visit during all seasons of the year, Australia has a very favourable climate during September November. Indeed, during this period, almost the entire country is subject to fairly pleasant temperatures. However, this does not prevent you from scheduling your trip in March, June, January, etc. Whichever month you choose, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef with its 2,000 km of seabed.

You can't spend a few days in Australia without visiting the magnificent city of Sydney. Sydney has so much to offer. As regions to discover, you have thegolden beaches of Manly, Bondi, The Rocks neighbourhoods without forgetting Darling Harbour. To make your stay even more interesting, the KAKADU National Park opens its doors to you with an incredible variety of species.

Australia is more than just places to visit. It's also a wonderful country that offers visitors some great entertainment. The Rainbow Serpent Festival is a perfect example. For the more courageous, this will be your chance to meet sharks in their natural environment. And don't forget to try your hand at sandbording on the dunes.

How do I get an e-visa for Australia?

In a bid to make travelling to Australia easier, the Australian government introduced the Australian eVisitor in 1996. This is an electronic visa which can be applied for via the official Australian government website in charge of the procedure. This document (eVisitor), which is valid for 12 months, will allow you to enter and leave Australian territory for a stay not exceeding 90 days.

If you can't visit the Australian government website, you can ask the services of a recognised visa agency. It is an online agency specialising in issuing electronic visas.

What criteria should I consider before applying for an Australian eVisitor?

Travellers with a valid passport (at least 6 months after the date of entry) are eligible to apply for an e-visa to Australia. In addition to this criterion, travellers must not hold a current Australian visa. Finally, the eVisitor application must be made outside Australia.
